ood friend.
I have 30 minutes before my train arrives at my home station. I’ve got some open tabs, a cup of tea, and Green Day on iTunes. Let’s go…
📕 I have co-authored a book on Mobility-as-a-Service, which is a comprehensive guide on this important new transport service. It is available from the Institution of Engineering and Technology and now Amazon.
💼 I am also available for freelance transport planning consultancy, through my own company Mobility Lab. You can check out what I do here.
😃 Good things going on
There is a petition regarding cycle lanes in Lancaster. Nope, its not to pull them out, but to put one in between the University and the railway station.
No comments here on the reunification of Ireland. But just to say that an hourly service between Dublin and Belfast has started. And that is no bad thing.
Parts of the new Piccadilly Line trains have been designed by SEND students. Which is a very positive thing indeed.
Could all of Soho in London be pedestrianised? I hope so (so long as it doesn’t affect cycle routes and buses too badly).
In other pedestrianisation news, the Victorian Society rather likes the one that has been installed in Bradford.
