Good day my good friend.

This week is yet another week of pounding the rails around the South East of England. I am currently writing this post on the way to Winchester in Hampshire. The original capital city of England, don’t you know? Anyway, onto the positivity.

📕 I have co-authored a book on Mobility-as-a-Service, which is a comprehensive guide on this important new transport service. It is available from the Institution of Engineering and Technology and now Amazon.

💼 I am also available for freelance transport planning consultancy, through my own company Mobility Lab. You can check out what I do here.

😃 Good things going on

It looks like the HS2 route from Birmingham to Manchester is back on the cards. It should never have been cut in the first place.

The East-West Rail route between Oxford and Cambridge is a step closer, as a test train was run on a re-instated section of line between Oxford and Milton Keynes.

Bath is consulting on some new cycle infrastructure in the city. Which is no bad thing.

They are also doing the same thing in Rotherham. Again, which is no bad thing.
