Good day my good friend.
30, eh. Soon this edition of the newsletter will start complaining about kids these days and have a sudden urge to listen to Radio 4. Or have a mid-life crisis. In the meantime, it will remain positive.
📕 I have co-authored a book on Mobility-as-a-Service, which is a comprehensive guide on this important new transport service. It is available from the Institution of Engineering and Technology and now Amazon.
😃 Good things going on
Todmorden is going for some cycling improvements. Cargodale will be pleased about that.
Meanwhile in London, a new segregated cycle track is going in on Putney Bridge.
It seems like the Wirral is also going to get some improvements as well. Lucky them.
On the other side of the Mersey, more electric buses will be plying the streets of Liverpool.
The Bee Network of buses in Greater Manchester is a year old, and passengers seem to like them.
The Barcelona metro system uses regenerative braking far more than most subways do.
