Good day my good friend.

Despite what life may throw at you, there is still joy in the world. Even on the darkest of days. And here is some of the good stuff happening in the world of transport.

Mobility Camp is back, and the number one transport unconference is heading to York on Friday 20th September. Book your tickets now! 🎫

I have co-authored a book on Mobility-as-a-Service, which is a comprehensive guide on this important new transport service. It is available from the Institution of Engineering and Technology and now Amazon. 📕

😃 Good stuff going on

Work is just about to start on a whole series of cycling infrastructure improvements across Kings Lynn. Not much of this is revolutionary, but every little helps.

Stateside, a major bridge in California is getting some much needed walking and cycling improvements. This bridge being Crocker Bridge in Cloverdale.

Several bus services across Peterborough are going to get more frequent services and in some cases extension of these services. Which is nice to see.

Not to be left behind, Southampton is looking for an operator of a new service in the city. So get on it if you are an operator.

Meanwhile, if you fancy taking the bus to the cricket, you will have to head to Taunton. Somerset County Cricket Club have partnered with a local operator to provide new services dedicated to cricket fans.

A new ship has sailed 50 miles. No biggie, except this one was a replica of a Bronze Age ship. So that is some feat.

Wind energy continues to break records. Now it is beating gas as an energy source across the EU. Thanks, Vladimir.
