Today I woke up, and Substack seems to having some sort of meltdown. Nothing is saving, nothing is working, no images or videos are being uploaded. Nothing. So sorry there is no full newsletter today.

• Sarah Barnes’ Along for the Ride Substack has a job board this week. It mainly focusses on mobility start-ups and mobility tech companies in the US, but its worth checking out if you are in the market for something new.

• Alon Levy at the Pedestrian Observations blog takes aim at the Green Party in Berlin, accusing it of hating projects any larger than a bike lane. I wish I could say that our Green Party in the UK is better.

• The B1M YouTube channel has a special video on the Fehmarnbelt tunnel between Germany and Denmark. Yes, I know they are connected by land already, it greatly reduces the value of the Oresund Bridge, and building this thing means no more trains on ships, but it is a very cool project that could have a big impact.

• This latest study in the Journal of Transport and Health concludes that the COVID-19 Vaccine rollout did nothing to encourage more people back to public transport. And the wider data on public transport use appears to confirm that.

• Henry Ford knew that the way to dominate the emerging car market was to produce at scale. Finally, an article in Vox gets its the same for electric vehicles.
