You’ve earned it

Good day my good friend.

It’s the last newsletter of the year. Rather than the news, I thought I would share with you some festive things with a transport twist, to get you in the mood for the big day.

Thank you so much for all of your support this year. I will be having a little break, and the next newsletter will drop into your inbox on 4th January. Have a Merry Christmas.

James

Santa and his friends go for a cycle through London

A classic from Chris Rea

Sod Slade, Wizzard, Live Aid and whatever rubbish Ed Sheeran has put out. This is a Christmas classic.

One for all the transport workers out there

Transport never sleeps. While you may be tucking into your Christmas dinner, thousands of workers will be busy running things and fixing things. This video is about Network Rail’s orange army last Christmas.

Interesting things

Tonight, track the progress of Jolly Old Saint Nick, Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen with NORAD Tracks Santa. Santa will be travelling at 2,924,100 miles per hour, so some military-grade tech is needed to keep track of him!

If you do nothing else today, then do this.

Eat, drink, and be merry. Seriously, have fun and look after yourself. See you in the New Year.
